Born in 1963 in Meissen, Saxony, Germany.
From 1983 onwards I was involved with the "Kunsthaus Buch" in Berlin, a government funded workplace for artists of all descriptions, to do mainly portraits and figure painting. Later I concentrated more on trying out different techniques like aqua tinta etc.
1986 I saw a demonstration of Adobe Photoshop 2 and Aldus Pagemaker 4. This marked the beginning of my love for computers. As these programs were written for Apple Macintosh computers consequently my first computer was a Macintosh Quadra 700. My enthusiasm for Apple Macs is still going strong with no end in sight.
During my life I have done a lot of different things but being active with creative contents is a central thread in all my occupations.
From 1991 I studied 6 semesters of "Advertising and Visual Communications" with the Axel-Andersson-Akademie in Hamburg, specialising in 'copy writing' and finished with my diploma there in 1993.
The end of 2000 saw a new direction in my life. I was asked to design websites for friends and turned this into a full time job. André Creative was formed in November 2007.
